Kim So Eun as Da Jung was endearing an heartfelt, if a little less perceptive than you would want. He’s absolutely terrifying as the charismatic MC with everything to hide. Shin Sung Rok particularly is phenomenal. You watch Liar Game for the twists and turns, certainly, but mostly for the characters as the character acting. That was part of the reason I stopped watching anime actually, the lack of actual endings, and so I did find it frustrating but not enough that I regretted watching the show. Also, in the way of single season anime, it doesn’t have a clean complete resolution. I found that rather refreshing actually, but no/little romance is a turn off for some. There is sexual tension between the male and female lead, but no outright love line. Perhaps because of the source material, Liar Game is not the usual sort of Kdrama fare I’m accustomed to. And when we remember that this show is based on a manga and was a Jdrama before it was adapted in Korea, that makes perfect sense. There's also Mayumi, a mysterious woman staring closely at Izumi's father's photograph at his funeral. However, she ends up becoming the 8th kumicho of the Medaka Gumi! The police tell her that her father's death may possibly be a homicide case. Izumi is taken by surprise and keeps refusing at first. Therefore, Sakuma begs Izumi, the former boss's only distant relative left, to succeed to the kumicho position. The death of their former kumicho (Boss) puts Medaka Gumi on the verge of a breakup.
One day, Sakuma, the waka gashira of a small and weak Yakuza gang in Asakusa - the Medaka Gumi - pays Izumi a visit along with the gang members. High school student Hoshi Izumi loses her father suddenly in an accident. This show, created by Hiroshi Abe and Kazuki Enari, scores 7.7 on IMDb. Those that frequent the store also have a story to tell. The thing that is most peculiar about "Antique" though is that all 4 of the men that work here are very handsome, and each has an interesting past. On top of this, all the sweets that are sold are unbelievably delicious. Every single thing in the shop is antique, in fact even the sherry glasses that water comes in look like they would cost 50,000 yen.
Located in the middle of an ordinary residential area, "Antique" stays open until 2 a.m. This is a confectionery with a "flavor" not like most.

This story is about four men who work in a confectionery.
